As promised, here’s a pic of the present Sharon made me for my birthday. I’m sure most of those who know me know I don’t like a fuss made (I’m like Scrooge, only I do it for all celebrations. I’m a miserable ****** at heart) but how the hell could I not like this? It’s now mounted on the wall at the top of the stairs. Jesus! I did one of those when I was much younger, but of the cover art of Dio’s Holy Diver album…it ended up looking crap, though.
And no, that doesn’t make me a puff..!

Sharon’s done tons of these. Much as I love this one, some of the others are way more impressive technically. Ask nicely and I can post/email pics of the ones I have. She also does greetings cards and stuff at request. I’m sure she’d be happy to take orders!

I love cross stitch Sharon, but the Toon Army one had me beat – all those huge expanses of the same colour – I need lots of colour change to keep me interested. Mind you, I’ve given up on the 18 count on navy blue aida picture I started 3 months ago… my eyes aren’t what they used to be….

lol The Incredibles was fantasitc, despite a slow start… great fun, and although I loved Nemo, you might be right!!!

For my mom’s 60th birthday, I made a footstool. It was about 12 by 8 inches, 18 count, cottage, with about 80 different colours in it. I swore I’d never do 18 count again, but this picture just called to me….
No, I prefer the techie stuff…… If my scanner was connected, I’d email you a pic, but it’s not, so I can’t. It’s a pic of dolphins and colourful fish.
I also have unfinished – Tutenkamun, red chillies and garlic in a kitchen, looney tunes baby afghan, beautiful picture of flowers in a vase (huge that one), bagpuss, and that’s just the one’s I remember…..
Oh, no – don’t mention Bagpuss. You’ll start her off again…

That doesn’t sound too easy Anni… I tend to stick to 16 count, and haven’t worked on 18 before.
I’ve a monster project hiding away, which I started about 3 years ago… thats the next one to finish! Its got more colours, mixes of colours and stitches to keep you more than interested!
But if you’ve got anything you don’t think you’ll finish, I’m happy to do it for you…
