Ah, can't help you there then I'm afraid. There used to be a function on Google Calendars to search to any public calendars, but they removed this about a year ago (I think I blogged about it) and now you have to go through their official list.

You *may* find such a calendar as the one you want via them, though.

Mosh, I'm not wanting to start this myself but rather find the person who was already setting it up in 9 & 10/2009. He was going to get a feed ritht from FIFA or one of the media who was publishing the scores. So it would appear on his computer as automatically as that of anyone joined to the project.

Thanks, Nancy

Nancy, it's easy to do. Just create a new calendar, ensure that all the posts on it are marked "public" and go to the sharing options under the calendar settings. Distribute the link for the non-admin version and people can add that to their Google Calendars (or anything else that will accept ICS feed).

As you update the calendar, it will update on other people's screens - though they may have to refresh manually to receive the changes.

I am trying to insert the calendar of matches in World Cup this year into my personal G Calendar. Further, the person said that when the matches were being played the results could be automatically posted in all the calendars of those interested.

I'd like to connect and with him and I'd like to see those scores appear on my calendar. Heck, maybe that would be moved up the my Homepage!!

In what respect? Most popular sport in the US? Possibly. Most popularly-used calendars on Google? Also possibly given the poor support (mentioned above) for real football.

Most popular sport worldwide? I very much think not. The English Premier League is, I believe, the most watched sporting league in the world.

Not that Newcastle are currently in the EPL, mind *sigh*
