Money, sadly, seems to be what it's all about these days. A shame we can't also introduce a salary cap as the American football and ice hockey teams do. Players can still make a mint - far more than their wage - through sponsorship deals but it would help prevent players moving for the pound signs. I think you should aso consider the money factor of the English clubs, they have more resources to find young player talent than the Scots, Irish and Welsh, therefore meaning there are more choices for the best club players playing for England.
