I am very much one to hold a grudge. Cineworld vary in what they show and I'm lucky to live near the Glasgow centre one which gets pretty much everything. The one in Dundee (nearest my folks) was infuriating for advertising films and then not getting them in. I’ve got a semi-boycott on the Odeon chain as a whole since they opened a branch on the site of what used to be the Mayfair in Newcastle. I am very much one to hold a grudge.

And there aren't really any discount theaters around here. The one or two they did have couldn't get anything that wasn't due on DVD in a couple of weeks and went out of business. I have a monthly pass so I don't pay much attention to the standard ticket prices, but I've been told that the Odeon is far more expensive.
