I like my beans on toast. For the record, here’s my personal recipe…
Pop the toast on, and when it comes out you slice it into soldiers on the plate. One slice for 1/2 a tin of beans, 2 slices if you’re having a full can.
Before heating the beans, or as you start heating, drop in:
- some grated cheese
- a dollop of Branston pickle
- 1-2 slices of chopped/shredded ham
- a splash of spicy hot sauce
Pour heated beans over the toast, squirt some HP sauce on the top and eat. Nom nom.
