These arrived the other day but I only just picked them up. Just as our pupils are off on exam leave, this (first) bunch arrived – spare time, what’s that? A strange part of me is looking forward to it, and I have a markers’ meeting on Tuesday as well.
Beer. Book. Balcony. Enjoying the last of the sunshine with a fizzy beverage, after a day out with the kids.
You’re probably sick of pictures of the kids playing in various parks by now. So here’s one of me taking a break from playing footie with Austin. Photo by the boy himself. You can’t hear the conversation but it went along the lines of:
“Hurry up – my arm’s hurting.”
“I’m trying to get a good angle for a photo.”
“Get a move on, I’m going to fall.”
“One more minute.”
“I don’t have a minute!”
“Haha – I’ve taken, like, ten pictures.”
“I hate you.”
My little Kids Krav class had their grading today, courtesy of John who runs Krav Maga Dynamics, the club I’m a member of. I’m very pleased to say that John was impressed and all of them passed their T1! Apologies for the bad paint job, but child protection, GDPR and all that!
Yeah, it’s my bed. It’s been a long day with three tutees to see after work, then shopping to do. And yes, that’s Duggee waiting to give me Duggee Hugs. And my Batman pyjamas. You’re entitled to be jealous.
