Seems like Linda Ronstadt was kicked out of a casino for praising Fahrenheit 9/11 recently. So much for free speech. Of course, she’ll have been saying how good it was in front of rich people, and anyone who’s seen the film will know that rich people tend to side with the Bush administration because it’s making them more rich.
Funny how so many Americans think that saying their President is an ass is” very American. Preventing someone from having the freedom to say what they think, or – for example – buying and defrauding your way into office is un-American. Or at least it was. It seems to be run of the mill to be corrupt in the USA these days.
I know British ‘Stars’ are also beginning to say what they think, but think it was Elton John who stated in the news earlier this week that the Americans were intimidating people into ONE voice… the Bush way of seeing the world… How scary would that be?
Only scary if you find Teletubbies scary, as I reckon that’s how he sees it. Or one big ****-off piggy bank.
