Smogville, here I come

Courtesy of the Newcastle United Supporters Club, Yorkshire (a.k.a. the Yorkshire Mags), who have once again come through in a time of need, I have a ticket for Saturday’s match.

*Does a happy dance*

I can only hope the rain holds off. It would be rather ironic for the weather to be to blame for us missing a match against the Boro, while we’re suffering a bit of an injury/medical crisis. I of course hark back to the “ooh, it might snow and we’ve barely got a full squad, let’s cancel the match” events of 2 seasons ago.

Sir Findo Gask

Just wait until October 23…

Hehehe

king Kev (maybe) and his mighty blue army..

Mosh

King Kev? Splitter!

And we let you win at your place last year cos we felt sorry for you. As for the home tie last year… erm… wasn’t that 3-0 to us? 🙂

If you’re intending to travel up to the match, let me know – be happy to buy you a pre- or post-match pint!

Mosh

Of course you’re happy with the score. We should have won! Missed a sitter at the end, got greedy and kept punting the ball when we should have held possession and slowed the game down. Costly.

Sharon

Ok, so neither of us lost… and I’m happy with the score! One striker was out trying to prove something and your 3rd rate defenders played damm well! I was very surprised with them babe 🙂

Mosh

We lost the rescheduled game, yup. But we’d have won the original fixture as this fictional snowfall happened to coincide with a major injury crisis for your lot.

Coincidentally, something we’re suffering right now which makes me think that – yes – we will lose tomorrow. You have two strikers out to prove their worth, we have two 3rd-choice defenders getting a runout.

Sharon

You only keep harping back to it because you lost the rescheduled game!
And you are going to get beat tomorrow too 😛
