Alan – yes, I know about that. They were originally playing the Blind Beggar well outside of the cordoned-off area and I was planning to go with the ex. Mind, I can’t say I blame them changing to the main festival when the chance arose!
Hayseed Dixie are playing the Hogmanay Street Party in Edinburgh this year. I’ve got tickets to the main concert, but only because that’s the only place they have a ******* bar (can you believe that????) so I may well wander round to watch them (they’re on one of the free stages).
Caz – £15 for something I can download off the net? But nice idea! I ain’t sinking to his level, though. All I need is a counter-complaint made against me.

£14.99 (including delivery) is a good bit cheaper than having a bairn, moving next to a railway line, screaming out loud yourself while drilling and getting a (or someone else’s) dog to bark a lot.
Although I’d suggest a wireless network of speakers planted all around neighbour’s house, and having the US Army’s favourite band blasting away incessantly.
