Erm, yeah. That didn’t take long. After the earlier post I started looking into flight prices and have booked myself a 1-way ticket on Iceland Airways to Reykjavic. I fly out on January 4th for a few days and will likely head to Copenhagen after that for a the weekend, before getting an expense-paid flight to Geneva and on to Chamonix to work again.

Ah, it’s only one-way so I can head back into France for work via Copenhagen. At this time of year I expect Iceland to be… icy. It won’t be easy to get around the country so I’ll only really get a chance to see Reykjavik.
Anyone in the UK has no excuse for not going at the prices I’m paying for the flights, and with the way the Icelandic economy’s collapsed. Erm, unless their money is still tied up in one of the banks that went bust. I’m actually marginally in that position due to a delay in my pre-arranged withdrawals causing me nightmares with my direct debits *sigh*
