In between bouts of up-chucking (think yourselves lucky I’m sparing you those photos) Little Miss and her (not sick, thankfully) Big Bro did a bit of arty stuff. Making window hangers we picked up for a couple of quid. Cheap, but easy to make and the kids love them.
This popped up on a lamppost just outside my flat. WTF?
Saturday is Krav day, though I don’t always get to practice Krav on a coach with about 40 other people… Bruised and sweaty (and a little travel sick), it was an unusual way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
This little lady was up in the early hours and, as ever, said she wasn’t tired all day despite yawning a lot. While we were at Granny & Grandad’s she snuggled in my lap and 2 minutes later… Of course, come actual bedtime and she couldn’t / wouldn’t sleep, keeping on telling me that noises kept waking her up. She closed the living room door to “keep the noise down” and snuck into big brother’s room!
Just prior to our long weekend, our school routinely has a “memorial service” at Glasgow Cathedral. Not my kind of thing, but I do appreciate a nice building. Especially when I get to walk home again from the service in the sunshine, reading a book.
