Yeah, OK, so I pinched this one from the interwebz but I didn’t take any photos today and it was attached to a nice post telling young people that there is more than one route through life. For some the school… uni… job route is fine. But there are loads of others. Treat your life like a random backpacking adventure, not a package tour!

Battle scars! This is what happens when you go into a Slayer pit at Wacken while wearing shorts. Amazingly the only injuries I got in four days. I’m getting too old and cautious.

A half day in Hamburg at the tail end of Pride. So many nice sights, even though the city is pretty much shut due to it being a Sunday! There was a lovely bunch of kids / young adults walking around wearing their pride flags and just… being kids. It really made me smile.

Final day at Wacken (for this year) and a load of photos I could have picked from… but I liked this one of the moon just appearing as the sun goes down over the Infield area.
