Did you know if you’re writing a shopping list and you write “loo roll” and your pen’s not working so you scribble up and down on the first “l” until it works only you end up with it being a bit wonky and looped it looks like “poo roll” which is rather apt?
Yeah. One of those days.

One phrase I’ve been using lately is ‘Has anyone got a couple of hours sleep I can borrow?’
Maybe someone could lend you some.
I was up at 4:30am on Monday, after getting to bed at 12:30. I crashed out at 1am this morning. I am somewhat spaced out.
Woooooooo!
I feel somewhat bad about what I am about to say – got to bed at 11pm last night, got up for work at 8.30am.
but it’s all in preparation for an extended drive to Edinburgh tonight at around 7.30ish
My longest 2 drives to date have been Southampton to Whitley Bay (setting off at 6:00pm ish) and Dover to Glasgow (setting off late afternoon).
I now have a new job…
I don’t function well without sleep. I can keep going for hours but my ability to do stuff or tolerate people dips quite dramatically after about 18 – 20 hours..
Meh…
I can survive quite happily on 4 hours sleep a night. Day after day after day…
Then on one day a fortnight, I’ll sleep until lunchtime, and the cycle begins again!
The Wife can sleep 13 hours a night, and is still as grumpy as Victor Meldrew without his Preparation H.
I vary. 4 hours will just do me, but I hate getting out of bed and it takes *days* before I catch up on the sleep. I hate sleeping. It’s such a waste of time. Think of all the things you *could* be doing instead of lying there, drooling and keeping the neigbours awake with your snoring.
