Finally announced this morning:
Newcastle United Football Club can confirm that discussions are ongoing between the Board and Kevin Keegan.
Both the Club and Kevin would like to reiterate that Kevin remains as manager. He has not resigned nor has he been sacked, as has been confirmed in respective statements made by Kevin and Newcastle United Football Club.
Now, will someone tell me why this statement wasn’t released yesterday when it was patently obvious that people didn’t have a ******* clue what was going on? Their original statement (simply saying they’d not sacked him) didn’t help, as it only increased rumours that he’d walked out.
Oh, and Sky News can **** off if they think I’ll believe anything they report ever again. Cocks.

Absolutely atrocious and disrespectful to KK – I received a couple of frantic texts from Toon mates cos I was at home when the news broke and they were hoping I’d get more info off the telly…as if! The board will get lynched by a black and white striped mob if they don’t sort this out asap.
I just think keeping us informed should be more of a priority than they’re making it. We don’t need every detail as it happens, but a simple statement of “he’s still with the club” rather than the vague “we’ve not sacked him” would have offset the fact that the tabloids were obviously going to twist this into “he quit instead”.
Hopefully they’ll get rid of Dennis ******* Wise and Asbo as well. Neither of them should be involved with the club.
Plus. SKY are a bunch of Man Utd supporting scum.
Frankly, it could be worse.
we could be owned by Arab Billionaires who think that all women should be made to wear hajib’s and not speak in public.
Getting rid of ASBO (or attempting to) was apparently one of the issues cos KK wants to keep him. Mind, I saw one newspaper report say that he’d been on the verge of a transfer to Pompey, while another had an interview with Redknapp saying “horse ****”.
I’d like shot of the filthy thug, but then I wanted to get rid of Bowyer the second I’d heard we’d signed that ****** as well.
As for the Arab thing… I honestly *honestly* wouldn’t be happy if that was us. Much as I’d like someone with some more money to keep us competitive, the idea of having someone treat our football club like Championship Manager with a hack for infinite cash… I mean, what’s the point? Where’s the fun?
He’s not proving a footballing point, he’s just showing off about how ******* rich he is.
