Yes, it’s one of those annoying food pics. But this is my mum’s home made soup, a nice tub of which made its way home with me after a visit earlier today. I do need to get the recipe to save me having to drive over to get it!

A surprisingly moan-free walk into the West End from the flat with the kids (and back) in also surprisingly pleasant weather. A stop at the Botanical Gardens for some play in the park and a walk around the glasshouses, then down Byers Road to the University Café for a nice (if bloody expensive) lunch.

OK, I’m a nerd and I liked this April Fool from the people who make Wolfenstein. A promise of a cartridge version of their upcoming new title. Part of me really wants it to be true so I’d have an excuse to hunt down an old Atari VCS.
