The bugger’s back. Thank you for your patience (like you had a choice) and I hope to make up for it with a few posts between tonight and tomorrow. Don’t want to spoil you all at once.
First off, the results of the Root Beer Poll which I’m just about to close. In summary, you’re all ******* wrong. But the less of the root beer you drink, the more I have for myself. I blame me being the only one to vote properly on Adam not visiting my blog in ages. Git.

Did you drink that wierd bottle of brew you bought last week in Morrisons, by the way??? And was it worth the price?
Gah! *sulks at Joy*
ha ha ha
you drink Satan’s own urine and therefore probably smell of poo as well
nya nya nya nyaa nyaaaaa
Hehe. Think I’ll leave the rest till later / tomorrow. I have at least another 2 things to put up. Hmm. Might get bored at work on Monday. I could save my fingers till then…
I believe Sainsbury’s do their own version which is OK.
The best place, though, is A&W. They co-share three restaurants with KFC in the UK. One in Glasgow (near Sauchiehall Street), one in Manchester and one in Derby. I don’t know where the last two are and I can’t find them on the web anywhere!
Comes in a frosted pint mug. Mmmm.
I would like to campaign for an A&W in every town in Britain. Or at least at the end of my street.
Where ya been, Adam? Anywhere nice?
I’ve never tried it 😮
Is that the stuff that tastes like medicine? can you get it here? Hmmm…
It’s an American thing. The only A&Ws I know of are the three attached to KFCs in the above locations. Basically, it’s a burger joint – and their burgers are very nice indeed. Very *very* American in branding.
They do nice big burgers, chilli burgers, hot dogs, ice cream/coke “floats”, root beer… As I said, very American. The burgers aren’t as good as Wendy’s (damn, I miss them) but they’re not half bad.
The best thing is that as they all co-share with a KFC you can mix and match the products/meals. As far as fast food goes, these are the best in the UK IMHO.
Just happend to be passing through…..
SFG
mmmmmmm – chilli cheese burgers
Much generosity you show, oh one with no working tastebuds. And incidentally “Feck – that was quick”. Comment within a few minutes of postage!
Organic ginger beer, 99p. It was quite nice – stronger than the usual stuff but I dunno if it was worth the price. As it turns out, the company that makes it is based on Grey Street in Newcastle!
Sorry I missed this poll. I like root beer. There would have been two of us in that category.
whoops – didn’t mean to be anonnymouse – am using a different laptop
wot’s an A&W – never heard of it, is it a ‘north’ thing?
Your welcome to it. You can have my share anytime ******* awful stuff.
