A little package in the post from the US in the shape of a 7″ single and some extra gubbins. A shame it turned up a few days late for Fathers’ Day (which the song celebrates) and I don’t have a record player at present, but it was a lovely surprise!

How I missed this band when they passed through Moshville Times’ mailbox a while ago I don’t know. I love this song! OK, so it’s not the picture that made me happy, but it’s a picture relating to something that made me happy. And that counts. So there.

I went with Ellissa to see The Piano Guys tonight and it was utterly brilliant. A fantastic show that I’d recommend to anyone! Full review is up on Moshville Times, and it was great to spend an evening with the eldest – something I really don’t do enough of. Hopefully I’m making up for lost time with her, certainly we both enjoyed the trip to the Armadillo.

Slowly it takes shape. What I forgot when I bought all these patches (or rescued them from an old jacket) was that I’d have to stitch them all on myself. Ouch.
