Faith in humanity… restored. On Saturday, when we were out with the DofE group, Austin realised he’d mislaid his phone. It could have been anywhere along about a mile of tracks and pathways we’d walked along, and we couldn’t double back to look for it as we had a group of pupils to look for. I was pretty much prepared to write it off when I got the following message as we passed through a rare patch of mobile reception.

The people who found it dropped it off at a pub in the town, where we got it back the next morning (after dropping some chocolates off at the bar to be passed to them when they handed it in!). I can’t thank them enough, and Austin will be taking better care of his phone in future!
