The sun was out, so of course we headed for the park. Kicked a ball about, petted dogs, played on the swings and stuff… Oh, and there was a petting zoo at the shopping centre we went to!

A surprisingly moan-free walk into the West End from the flat with the kids (and back) in also surprisingly pleasant weather. A stop at the Botanical Gardens for some play in the park and a walk around the glasshouses, then down Byers Road to the University Café for a nice (if bloody expensive) lunch.

30 years since Sir Tim launched the World Wide Web upon us, and now he has to publish a statement saying that we’ve pretty much taken it and spoiled it. A shame, but still… thirty years! Here’s hoping I’m teaching the next generation of web developers how to do it right!
