Ellissa gave me this years ago and it’s been a permanent fixture on my desk ever since. We’ve gone through our rocky patches (she’s a teenager so of course), and sometimes I’ve needed reminded of… well… this. It never fails to raise my spirits even on the worst days when I see it sat there.

OK, this got messy. Next time, the oven goes on a bit higher and I invest in a baking tray. Trying to spatula the cookies off a regular over tray wasn’t as easy as I’d have liked!
Still, they tasted nice.
